Gould designs the TRM-20 as a 20 amp dual-element fuse. It has two separate elements that work together to provide protection against both short circuits and overcurrents. The TRM-20 fuse will only open when both of its elements are tripped. It is rated to handle up to 20 amps of electrical current before tripping.
